Herein are a few of my professional and life goals. I hope this list is not exhaustive.
- Pursue education as far as and for as long as I can. Apply for and become accepted to a PhD program, visit the campus and make the decision. Ultimately, I want to have something I write be cited.
- Develop a new programming language.
- Promote the use of and transparency of open source and free software. Help small businesses transition from proprietary software to free software systems. Help family and friends transition from proprietary software to free software systems.
- Help average computer users understand and implement computer security and privacy “best practices”. Push individuals to sign email, use secure protocols, encrypt sensitive data and help recognize malicious behavior.
